Certified Surgical Technician (CST)

This is a contract position for a Certified Surgical Technician in the Operating Room. The role requires experience in the following specialties: Ortho, Spine, Neuro, Robotics, Plastics, General, and GYN. Call is required for 4 to 5 shifts per 6-week period, including 4 to 5 late shifts. Candidates must be flexible and work well in a team environment. Staffing includes a day shift with a charge nurse, RNs, and sitters to run multiple operating rooms. Patient ratios are 1:1. The department uses advanced equipment including robotics and EMR systems. The unit maintains a collaborative culture with a focus on professional development and low turnover rates. Candidates must be self-directed and maintain a positive attitude. Professional attire includes provided scrubs and closed-toe, non-slip shoes. The unit has a supportive atmosphere with ongoing recognition of team achievements.
