Receptionist

The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining visitor sign-in procedures, and answering incoming phone calls both through desk phones and switchboard as well as other administrative support tasks. Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as required. Answer incoming phone calls both through desk phones and Switchboard. Provide general inquiries and accurate information to individuals and appropriate personnel. Assist with data entry, and organizational tasks. Schedule training and conference rooms. Handle routine issues and inquiries efficiently and professionally. Escalate concerns or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Ensure reception areas are organized and presentable at all times. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Previous office experience preferred. Good telephone techniques and communication skills. Strong ability to handle multiple tasks, such as incoming calls, guests and faxes. Must possess ability to act competently in a crisis situation while maintaining a calm and professional manner.
