JobDuties/ Responsibilities Conductindividualretirementcounselingsessionsforemployees. Calculateandprocessdistrict-paidretirementincentives,bonuses,andenhancements. Coordinateanddeliverretirementeducationsessionsandinformationalmaterials. Maintainandupdateemployeeenrollment,termination,andstatuschangeswithinIMRFandTRS systems. Analyze,audit,andmanagepension-relateddatawithinthepayrollsystem. Processemployeeretirementswithinthepayrollsystemandensureaccuratefinalpayandbenefit handling. AuditIMRFandTRSrecordstoensurepropertierclassification,eligibility,andcompliance. CollaborateacrossHumanResources,Benefits,andPayrolldepartmentstomanageretirement, insurance benefits, and pension programs accurately. Coordinate403(b)and457(b)retirementsavingsplanswiththird-partyadministrator(TPA)and employees. Processandreconcileall403(b),457(b),SSP,andVACpayrolldeductionsandremittances. Processandtrackall403(b)and457(b)withdrawalrequests,ensuringtimelyhandlingandcoordination with both legacy and current vendors. ManagedatafiletransferstoTPAandcoordinatetimelyfundingwithFinancialServices. Prepareandanalyzereportstosupportcompliance,audits,andstrategicplanning. Assistwithretirementrecognitionprogramsandrelatedevents. Administerenrollment,billing,andlifeinsuranceprogramsfortheAssociationofElginSchool Administrators (AESA). Maintaincompliancewithapplicablefederal,state,andlocalregulationsrelatedtoretirementand payroll. Performotherdutiesasassigned. Education Bachelor'sdegreeinFinance,BusinessAdministration,HumanResources,orarelatedfieldpreferred. Experience/ Knowledge Minimumoffive yearsofexperienceinHumanResources,Payroll,orFinancialServices. Experienceadministeringpublicsectorretirementsystemsstronglypreferred. Proficiencywithpayrollsystems(e.g.,Munis,Skyward,orsimilarplatforms). AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel(e.g.,pivottables,VLOOKUP)andstrongworkingknowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Understandingofpayrollprocesses,including,pre-andpost-taxdeductions. KnowledgeofIllinoispublicpensionsystems,includingTRSandIMRF. Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeetstrict deadlines. Stronganalytical,problem-solving,andorganizationalskills.
