Engagement Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex digital transformation programs for global enterprise clients, driving both business value and customer outcomes.
You will oversee multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, engineers, and delivery professionals working on large-scale cloud and technology initiatives.
As a senior client-facing leader, you will own program delivery, financial outcomes, risk management, and long-term customer relationships.
You will partner closely with engineering and business leaders to shape multi-year roadmaps across products, applications, services, and emerging technologies.

You will also play a key role in developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, recruitment, and performance leadership.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the delivery management of medium- to large-scale digital transformation and cloud programs, overseeing planning, delivery assurance, progress tracking, reporting, and risk and mitigation strategies.
• Take overall accountability for customer outcomes, ensuring programs deliver measurable financial benefits, operational improvements, and broader transformation objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements and develop new business opportunities based on customer needs, program performance, and emerging technology trends.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define and execute multi-year roadmaps across portfolios of products, applications, and services.
• Monitor program health, including scope, timelines, performance, risks, dependencies, quality, and customer satisfaction, and communicate progress clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively identify customer issues and delivery challenges, developing and implementing effective resolutions with speed and accountability.
• Contribute to broader organizational strategies, service roadmaps, operating models, and portfolio priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, services, and technology, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and team performance.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment by coaching, mentoring, motivating, and developing team members.
• Support recruitment and workforce development initiatives to build teams with the skills and capabilities required to deliver against customer commitments and performance objectives.
• Ensure teams remain focused on agreed service-level and delivery metrics while maintaining high standards of quality and customer value.
• Collaborate effectively across technical, business, and operational functions to align priorities and drive successful program execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering digital transformation initiatives, technology programs, consulting engagements, or similar client-facing projects for global organizations.
• Experience in program management, client services, management consulting, or a comparable leadership environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, with people-management responsibility considered essential for this role.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams using Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, or similar approaches.
• Strong understanding of project and program management principles, including planning, execution, delivery governance, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with technical and business leaders at all levels of large organizations.
• Strong client-management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and influence decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Business analysis capabilities and the ability to use quantitative and data-driven approaches to support strategic decision-making.
• Ability to manage complex priorities, solve problems proactively, and make sound decisions in dynamic and time-sensitive environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial awareness, with the ability to connect technology initiatives to business outcomes and financial value.
• Willingness and ability to learn and apply emerging developments in business research, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong accountability for outcomes.
• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
