This leadership role plays a key part in ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development within our skilled nursing facility. The ADON will help lead the clinical team while promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassion.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and overall management of nursing serviceSupervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LVNs, and STNAEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards of careParticipate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of nursing staffMonitor and improve quality measures, infection control, and resident outcomesAssist with staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and quality careCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care planSupport surveys, audits, and quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) initiativeAddress resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional mannerStep in to provide clinical support on the floor as neededRequirementsCurrent and active RN/LVN/LPN license (required)Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, with leadership experience preferredPrevious experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferredStrong knowledge of state and federal regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience with EMR systems and clinical documentationJoin us to lead compassionate caregiving efforts that truly make a difference!
