Job Description
We’re seeking a dedicated Reading Specialist to support high‐school students receiving special education services. The ideal candidate will provide targeted reading intervention, collaborate with teachers, and help students build essential literacy skills.
Responsibilities
Provide reading intervention for students with decoding, fluency, and comprehension needs
Assess student reading levels and track progress
Work with special education teams to support IEP goals
Offer small‐group and 1:1 instruction
Support classroom teachers with literacy strategies
Qualifications
Certified Reading Specialist or Special Education Teacher
Experience with structured literacy programs
Strong collaboration and communication skills
