A Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Imaging and X-ray technology is needed for a travel position in Wetumpka, AL. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care within a dynamic healthcare setting. Work three days a week with an emphasis on quality and patient safety.


Schedule:

• Saturday to Monday
• 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Approximately 75-85% clinical duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays following safety protocols.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for physician review.
• Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in medical records.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proven experience in diagnostic imaging and X-ray technology
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during extended shifts
