Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a facility located in Reno, Nevada. This full-time position involves night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Shift: Nights, 18:45-07:15, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nevada; a minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 3 experience; NICU experience of 3 or more years; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Stable practice certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The NICU handles neonates primarily admitted from labor and delivery, including patients as early as 23 weeks gestation up to 4 months old. The unit is equipped to respond to neonatal emergencies and provides a range of advanced therapies and bedside procedures, such as mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide inhalation therapy, intubations, and bedside diagnostic services. Nurses assist with procedures including peripheral IV insertions, septic workups, intubations, and parental education.
