COB & CM Senior Analyst

The COB & CM Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/ taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. Responsibilities Performs detailed operations and validation activities associated with the aggregation of data from many source systems. Ensures consistent reporting and data quality of source systems. Performs monthly runbook processing and validation activities, ensuring consistent reporting and data quality from source systems. Designs and analyzes complex data reports for use by resolution planning teams, senior management, and regulators. Recommends and oversees process improvements. Manages and executes operations activities associated with system enhancement projects. Ascertains business requirements, conducts data analysis, performs proof of concept and impact analyses, conducts user acceptance testing, and ensures changes are implemented successfully. Develops a comprehensive understanding of resolution plan data sourcing, in order to support and influence cross functional teams and management. Prepares analyses, reports, presentations, and other communications for senior management consumption. Drives compliance with applicable regulations and policy, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. This job description provides a high‑level review of the types of work performed. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues to senior managers. Excellent analytical capabilities. Demonstrated experience in working with large and complex data files. Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Pivot, V‑lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint. Organizational and project management skills. Problem solver with the ability to translate plans in actions. Ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables.
