Job Title: Senior IBM i Software Engineer | RPGLE Developer | Tech Lead with AI Automation \ N

\ NSeeking IBM i / AS400 / RPG expertise , with deep hands-on technical knowledge and experience, who can independently work in complex legacy environments. High-performing professional who knows IBM I and RPG inside and out, and enjoys solving problems in legacy environments. Candidates should be proactive, accountable, and motivated to improve systems and development practices. Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and analyze legacy RPG code.

- 10+ years IBM i /AS400 / RPG development experience \ N
- Strong expertise in RPGIII / RPG IV / RPGLE (Free Format), CL / CLLE and DB2 for i / SQL \ N
- Ability to analyze, maintain, and enhance complex legacy RPG applications \ N
- ILE RPG / Activation Groups / ILE Concepts \ N
- Service Programs (SRVPGM), Binder Language, Signatures, Signature Failure Resolution \ N
- Embedded SQL / SQLRPGLE/ File Access Using SQL \ N
- Performance Tuning / Long-Running Batch Job Efficiency \ N
- IBM i APIs / REST APIs / Web Services / Web Components \ N
- Error Handling / Message Severity Levels \ N
- Data Conversion (RPG toJSON / JSON to RPG) \ N
- AI Enablement / Modernizing / Optimizing IBM i / RPG applications \ N
- Use of AI tools to improve development productivity & analyze legacy code more efficiently \ N
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills \ N
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deliverables \ N
- Familiarity with tools such as Aldon, MKS Implementer, Git, X-Analysis, or Hawkeye \ N
