Medical Billing Manager

As we scale, we are looking for a Billing Manager who is ready to take ownership of our revenue cycle operations and help drive accuracy, compliance, and financial performance. About the Role This is a full-time, onsite position based in our Richmond office. Candidates must already reside in the greater Richmond area. The Billing Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing billing and revenue cycle functions across services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys building efficient, scalable processes. What You’ll Do Lead and manage all aspects of the revenue cycle , including billing, coding coordination, claims submission, and collections Ensure accurate and compliant billing practices across Medicare and other payer sources Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (AR, denials, reimbursement trends) and implement improvements Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to provide visibility into financial performance Identify and resolve billing issues, denials, and workflow inefficiencies Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams Strengthen customer service processes related to patient billing inquiries Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards What We're Looking For Proven experience in healthcare billing and revenue cycle management (primary care and/or senior-focused care preferred) Experience with EHR systems, Athena required Strong knowledge of Medicare billing , care management programs (e.g., CCM, RPM), and compliance requirements Experience with data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics Ability to optimize workflows and implement process improvements Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills Experience leading or mentoring team members is a plus Why Join Us?
