Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist providing impactful support to K-12 students. This contract position is based on-site and focuses on delivering direct speech therapy as well as conducting evaluations. You’ll be serving one school location in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee, ensuring continuity and strong rapport with your caseload.

Your role includes fostering communication growth and helping students reach their full potential. Both full-time (up to 35 hours per week) and part-time schedules are available. The assignment starts August 11, 2026 and goes through May 27, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (FL DOH required)
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-12 age groups preferred
• Commitment to working on-site; virtual/remote assignments are not available
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badging
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech therapy to students of varying abilities and ages (K-12)
• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress in accordance with district standards
