Product Designer (hybrid, Omaha NE)

Summary of the Job:

As a Junior Product Designer you will work on a range of design tasks across the Milli product. As part of a small team you will have the opportunity to influence the product, design features and create improvements. Working closely with Designers, Product Owners, and Developers you will be at the core of a fast paced team that works to deliver engaging products (you’ll even get an opportunity to flex that marketing design muscle, too!).

About This Role:

Responsible for

• Wireframes, flow charts, high-fidelity prototypes
• Research task writing and tests
• Contributing to and updating the design system
• Work with Development as an active participant in agile ceremonies
• Take on special design tasks and projects as needed

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Skills & Experience

• BS/BA in UX Design or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience as a Junior Designer with accompanying portfolio
• Experience with design software (e.g. Figma, XD, InVision)
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. UserTesting, Maze)
• Teamwork and Communication skills
• A keen eye for visual detail and accuracy

• Ability to communicate the business impact of designs
• An understanding of agile software development (desirable)

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
