• Clinical Care :
  • Provide expert radiation oncology care in an outpatient cancer center.
  • Manage a variable patient load, ensuring comprehensive treatment planning and delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Schedule :
  • Full-time schedule with a combination of clinic hours and on-call duties.
  • Participate in the holiday coverage rotation, including major holidays such as New Years Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Practice Setting :
  • Focus on outpatient radiation oncology with no inpatient rounding required.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient records and communications.
• Certification and Licensing :
  • Must be board-certified in Radiation Oncology.
  • Eligible candidates should hold an active license to practice in Wisconsin or be eligible for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

• Support Staff :
  • Work closely with radiation therapists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other support staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Engage in collaborative care planning with medical oncologists and other specialists as needed.
• EMR System :
  • Proficient use of the Epic EMR system is required.
• Call Responsibilities :
  • Participate in a call schedule that complements clinical hours, ensuring continuous patient care coverage.
• Privileges :
  • Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges are available for a swift onboarding process.

• Experience :
  • At least one year of experience in a radiation oncology setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in managing diverse oncology cases and delivering precision radiation therapy.
• Licensing :
  • Must be licensed to practice in Wisconsin or eligible for licensure through IMLC.
• Technical Skills :
  • Proficient in using the Epic EMR system for patient management and documentation.
