Location: 501 42nd St. N, Fargo, ND 58102 Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern to support various forecasting, production planning, inventory and procurement functions within our operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in supply chain management for a company that produces a range of sunflower seed‑based products, including wild bird seed, sunflower butter, and roasted & seasoned sunflower seeds. The intern will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and enhance production planning strategies. Key Responsibilities Assist in demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods. Support import logistics, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery of products. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings. Work with procurement teams to assess supplier performance, lead times, and material availability. Collaborate with production teams to improve material flow and reduce bottlenecks. Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes and warehouse operations. Conduct research on industry best practices for sustainable sourcing and supply chain resilience. Qualifications Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to problem‑solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and collaborate with multiple departments. Self‑motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to supply chain efficiency. Hands‑on experience in real‑world supply chain operations. Exposure to end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
