Tableau DeveloperTallahassee, FL12+ monthsResponsible for general ETL development and implementing new solutions.Assist team build and modernize our hybrid technology solutions.Work on modern warehousing and integration technologies.Responsible for understanding of cloud data integration tools and cloud data warehousing.Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.Develop enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features.Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across DEO.Determine specifications, then plans, designs, and develop the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes—either individually or in concert with a project team.Assist in the most difficult support problems.Develop programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.View both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.6 months to 1 Year experience with Snowflake cloud-based data warehouse, Snowflake SnowSQL and writing user defined functions.Working experience in one or more modern Object-Oriented Programming languages (C#, Scala, Python)2 years of experience in both Alteryx Designer and Server, a Subject Matter Expert and mentor for others.3-5 years of experience in data engineering and Change data capture (CDC) tools such as Oracle Golden gate, Striim or Kafka etc. Deployed on prem or Cloud platform (Azure or AWS)3-5 years of experience developing ETL, ELT and Data Warehousing using Alteryx and Tableau.3-5 years of experience in data modeling and should have 3-5 years of experience developing SQL scripts and stored procedures that processes data from databases.3-5 years of experience in loading source system data extracts into data warehouse.3-5 years of experience with batch job scheduling and identifying data/job dependencies. Strong understanding of various data formats such as CSV, XML, JSON etc.Ability to build comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop.Ability to perform administrative and support activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance.Hands on experience in cloud-based architecture, Azure or AWS.Ability to write SQL queries against Snowflake. Ability to develop scripts (Unix, Python etc.) to do Extract, Load and Transform data. Ability to provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such as data load problems, transformation/translation problems etc.Ability to translate requirements for BI and Reporting to Database design and reporting design and understand data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done.Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based and on-premise technologies. Actively test and clearly document implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditions.Hands-on experience with at least one Snowflake implementation.This position will work closely with the Scrum masters, Architects, QA, Dev/Ops, as well as multiple cross functional teams.Ability to understand end to end data integration requirements and response time SLAs to build data driven solutions that provide best in class customer experience. Strong understanding of incident management and change management process to support day to day production issues. Experience working directly with technical and business teams.Ability to co-ordinate root cause analysis efforts for permanent resolution on all incidents.Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues collaborate with cross functional teams on issue resolution. Work with the Development team to understand the new functionality being deployed and ensure all support readiness requirements are met.Ability to adjust both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences and to work independently to complete assigned tasks.Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience.
