Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Basic EKG required Must-Have: - Extensive dialysis experience - Epic experience preferred - Charge nurse experience preferred - Ability to work in acute care inpatient dialysis settings - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: We are seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse with extensive experience in dialysis to join our team. The nurse will work 4x10-hour shifts during the day. On-call requirements include being available from 18:30 to 08:00, Sunday every month. There will be weekend coverage every other weekend. The nurse will float and perform dialysis in inpatient units, including ICU, step down, and emergency department as needed. Patient ratios are 1:2 during the day and 1:1 at night. Strong skills in cannulating AV fistulas and grafts are required. The nurse will be responsible for the administration of blood products and monitoring patient vitals throughout treatment. Knowledge of infection control practices and management of anticoagulation is essential. Candidates must provide proof of certifications and relevant experience references when submitting applications.
