Sports Medicine Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) MedCBO, Inc. enables independent physician groups to launch, manage, and scale their practices through a comprehensive Business‑in‑a‑Box platform. This role is for physicians who wish to own and operate a separate medical practice while MedCBO supplies non‑clinical administrative support. Responsibilities Physician responsibilities include: Providing care within the scope of sports medicine. Developing professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinating payer credentialing and related clinical services. Managing clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO MedCBO supplies: Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Qualifications MD or DO with an unrestricted, active license in the intended state. Board certified or board eligible in a relevant specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard rates. No active disciplinary restrictions preventing independent practice. Interest in an independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets (urban, suburban, rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not salary‑based but generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary with specialty scope, services, payer mix, activity, and local market.
