Excelcare at Newark is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee nursing operations during your shift, mentor and support nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help create a positive, resident-centered care experience.

Schedule: Part-time | Every other weekend | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM |

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff during assigned shifts

• Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with all regulations and facility policies

• Support, mentor, and coach nurses and nursing assistants

• Oversee admissions, discharges, and resident transfers

• Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and resident care issues

• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor documentation accuracy and completion

• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Delaware

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to make sound clinical decisions and manage multiple priorities
