Position Summary
As our Front Desk Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients, families, and visitors while supporting the daily operations of our Home Health office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls while providing exceptional customer service.
- Direct calls to the appropriate departments and take accurate messages when necessary.
- Schedule appointments and assist with general office coordination.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with daily clerical and administrative tasks.
- Monitor office supply inventory and restock as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of front desk/reception experience required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience handling multi-line phone systems and high-volume incoming calls required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and a positive attitude.
