Required Certifications: NC or compact license, Basic Life Support

Years of Experience: at least 2

Float Requirements: as needed, float to surgical, neuro, intermediate (will take med surg level patients)

Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps

Supervisor: Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: Adult/geriatric medical surgical

Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience: Cerner experience, IV competency

Preferred Skillset/Experience: charge experience

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end of life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, infection

Personality Fit: look for team players, strong patient advocates, busy floor-need to keep up

Required Education: Associate or bachelors in nursing
