SUMMARY

The driving force behind our growth at Mueller is our people.Thefacilities maintenanceposition is a crucial part of our teamin helping us toensurethat we deliver quality to our customers. This positionworksin an industrial environment that is hot, humid, and noisy and works around dust grease, oil, and other chemical substances. This is a non-climate-controlled facility, meaning temperatures can bevery highin the summer, and cold in the winter. Operators will perform tasks such aslifting,up to 50 lbs., walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping to perform the responsibilities of this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES

Shipping and loading trucks: checks identification, reports shortages or damage, moves, stores, stacks, and arranges Prepare material to be shipped Inventorytransfer,unloads, moves, and stores a variety of materials, parts, or products using standardized procedures Must be able toidentify,count (including weigh count),record, and keep like parts together Maintaining inventory records,inventory completions,inventory adjustments, ship confirmations, receiving tallyand scrap entry PerformCycle countsand other related duties Operate a power lift truck, hand truck, dolly, or other device Wear the proper PPE for each task given Perform other related duties as directed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift experience- must be able to drive both a standup andsit down Familiarity with inventory and scales Follow oral and written instructions and work orders Multitask, self-motivated, and work with little to no supervision

Prior work in a manufacturing Environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalentpreferred. Valid Tennessee Driver’s License Musthave good written and oral communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Ability tofrequentlysit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to lift and/or move 50pounds, and up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision. Ability to use power tools, airtoolsand other vibratory tools. Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time. Ability to work around hot heavy machinery. Ability to work in an open warehouse environment, subject to seasonal weather (hot/cold) Must be able to function in a high-pressureproduction typeenvironment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

No overnight travelisrequired.
