Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, 3 triage beds
• Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Centricity and Paragon
• Supervisor: Melissa Wilson
• Patient Population: Adults

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills in monitoring, assessing, and managing patients during labor.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience in OR circulation.
• Experience in mother/baby care and triage is preferred.

Work Environment

The unit operates with a monthly volume of approximately 110 deliveries, fostering a dynamic and supportive work atmosphere.

Education Requirements

• Must possess a current state nursing license.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience is required.

Scrub colors should be blue and blue/green.
