Aerostrat's success to date has been driven by a lean team focused on transforming complex asks into an easy-to-use product.About this roleAs Director of Software Engineering, you are responsible for the direction, strategy, and execution of Engineering and Technology at Aerostrat. You enable the department to develop and maintain the best solutions for customers, ensuring Aerostrat's applications and services are scalable, secure, and efficient. This is achieved through project management, leadership, and the architecting of both the technologies and methodologies used in building solutions. You will also be responsible for building a highly skilled Engineering team through recruiting, upskilling, mentoring, and retention.The Director of Software engineering is also responsible for the technical coordination of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). You work with management to ensure prioritization of the implementation of the ISMS, ensuring its function, and periodically auditing it. Additionally, this position is also a part of the Information Security Team (IST), acting as the main technical representative and Engineering department representative.In this role, you will...Partner with the CEO, Leadership team, and Product team to develop the product and company vision and strategy.Create and execute Aerostrat's Engineering strategy.Clearly communicate Aerostrat's technology and Engineering vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.Set goals that meet the organization's and the Engineering department's needs.
