This highly visible role translates complex technical information into clear, executive-ready communications for senior leaders, board and committee audiences, regulators, employees, and external industry partners. The consultant becomes a trusted partner to assigned leaders and helps communicate the value, priorities, and impact of ISS.What You’ll DoDevelop monthly and quarterly reports, board and committee materials, executive talking points, presentations, newsletters, and ad hoc communicationsTranslate complex information security topics into clear, relevant messages for nontechnical audiencesPartner with assigned CISO leaders and build a deep understanding of their organizations, priorities, and technical workParticipate in leadership discussions, ask clarifying questions, and provide constructive challenge when content is unclearAnticipate communication needs and proactively recommend solutions, messaging, and materialsManage multiple recurring and ad hoc deliverables, deadlines, stakeholders, decisions, and action itemsSupport external cybersecurity industry engagements and related meeting or event materials as neededBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience10 or more years of business experience with five or more years of technical communicationsFive or more years of experience with support to information delivery solutions, knowledge management, systems, and communication strategies Preferred Skills/ExperienceExperience developing executive communications, board presentations, talking points, and recurring reporting for senior leadersAdvanced technical writing, editing, analysis, and storytelling skills, including translating complex information for nontechnical audiencesAbility to create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and prepare materials to be presented by othersStrong consultative judgment, relationship-building skills, and confidence working with senior executives and technical subject-matter expertsProactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlinesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Teams; working knowledge of SharePointFamiliarity with information security, cybersecurity, financial services, or regulated environments is helpful but not requiredLocation expectationsThis role requires working from one of the U.S. Bank locations listed on this posting three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to ourdisability accommodations for applicants.
