Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule: Variable shifts: days/evenings; 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Call required: Monday–Friday 2100–0630. Weekend coverage: Saturday/Sunday 0630–1900 and 1900–0630; holiday/weekend coverage as needed. Weekend expectation: up to 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks (as needed).

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Preferred cases: ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns. Required: BLS (BCLS), EPIC experience. NIHSS (if applicable).

Roles & Responsibilities: Circulate in the OR with a focus on orthopedic, neurosurgery/spine, and general surgery cases. Assist with intraoperative care and collaborate with the surgical team. Manage routine intraoperative tasks and documentation.

Compliance / Notes: COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only). Fingerprinting required immediately after booking; candidates outside the state must travel for this. Submission deadline: Tuesday prior to start. RTO required with submission; must be in contract. Non-responsive candidates risk push/cancel.
