Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures. Essential functions include preparing beverages in accordance with established procedures, following proper cash control procedures, practicing proper par stock ordering procedures, maintaining current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages, responsible for set-up and cleaning of bar area, monitoring and assisting in training Barbacks, maintaining knowledge of current hotel activities, beverage outlets and operations, complying with all health and safety standards, attending meetings as scheduled, and other job-related duties as assigned.

Must have knowledge of relevant bartending procedures (drink recipes, etc.); great people skills required including effective communication; skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff; ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to perform basic math; ability to handle money and make correct change; ability to understand and comply with all departmental and Company rules, regulations, policies and procedures; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management.
