Join us.Position Title: Project EngineerLocation: Irvine, CAWork Arrangement: On-sitePosition Summary: DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Project Engineer capable of supporting both on-going and emerging federal defense and commercial contracts. This position requires a person that can both develop process and work within defined procedures, to include government requirements. The successful candidate will have experience interfacing with a wide range of internal disciplines, customers, and active subcontractors. Demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management is desired. The successful candidate will have a background experience in projects in the Government or Defense Contracting Industry.Required Duties and Responsibilities:Primary role will be working with existing project managers and lead technical engineers to aid in the successful execution of their respective projects:Project financialsProject & program deliverablesTeam task and labor tracking and managementCommunication of project health and status to both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to follow and help execute technical schedulesParticipate in design reviews and technical meetingsAnalyze and interpret technical data to inform project decisionsProven ability, capacity, and aptitude with planning, organizing, coordinating technical work, and obtaining cooperation from othersRequired Skills/Qualifications:Minimum of 1 - 5 years of industry experience as directly supporting or leading project execution of design, development, manufacturing, or operations programsPositive, "can-do" attitude and talent/experience leading people and cultivating healthy relationshipsPro-active approach to solving problemsWork under general direction in a fast-paced environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsSkilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in defense or aerospace industriesUnderstand, follow, and build operational processesExperience in enterprise resourcing and planning toolsDevelop and maintain good working relationships with clients and internal work groupsExperience with CAD software and simulation toolsEducation:Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Business Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Clearance Level Required: None, security Clearance not required but preferredTravel Required: Yes, up to 10% anticipatedWorking Conditions:The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment, to warehouse and other facilities.Physical Demands: Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.Export Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 annually Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
