Cost Accounting Manager

Cost Accounting Manager (Retained Search) Austell, GA (onsite 4 days a week) Starting Salary $150K + with a bonus Join a $500M industry leader in temporary construction buildouts and marketing events. This newly created role will build the company's cost accounting and inventory function from the ground up. Partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance, you will design scalable processes, establish inventory controls, develop standard costing methodologies, and implement reporting that improves visibility into project profitability and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Build and lead the company's cost accounting and inventory processes from the ground up. Develop standard costing, inventory valuation, job costing, and variance reporting. Design and implement inventory controls, cycle count procedures, and month-end inventory close processes. Partner with operations to improve inventory accuracy, material usage, and project profitability. Analyze manufacturing and fabrication costs, labor, overhead, and inventory variances. Support ERP enhancements, process improvements, and internal controls while preparing the organization for future growth and scalability.
