Catholic 3rd grade Teacher

Job Summary Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part‑time 3rd grade teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for 13 hours per week at our center near Denver in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The 3rd grade class is self‑contained, and teachers teach all subjects. You do not need a teaching certification or formal teaching experience to apply. The right applicant may have experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching your own children, or perhaps teaching in a classical or private school (although not required). Responsibilities Teach 13 hours per week in a self‑contained 3rd grade classroom. Deliver all subjects in a highly structured classical and Catholic environment. Prepare lesson plans at home and attend classes Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Manage classroom and follow RCA standards. Attend mandatory training on August 6 and 7, 2026. Qualifications No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required. Preferred experience homeschooling, teaching with homeschool children, ministry in a Catholic parish, Religious Education or Catechism, or teaching own children. Strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. Must be living the Catholic faith day‑to‑day and have received all sacraments appropriate to state in life. Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. Schedule & Compensation Positions are hourly; childcare/nursery is provided. Hours are Monday and Thursday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. No additional vacation days are given; accommodations made for sick days as needed. Background Check & Training All staff complete a background check and attend mandatory training on August 6 and 7, 2026, before working in the classroom.
