Adjunct Teaching - Political Science - POLI 420/421: Constitutional Law

Job Title: Posting End Date: June 30, 2026 Position Start Date: September 1, 2026 Required Degree: Ph.D. or J.D. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Duties/Expectations The selected candidate(s) will teach the following: POLI 420: Constitutional Law – American Federal System: This course teaches students about the most important parts of American politics, the US Supreme Court and its decisions, as well as the historical development of the most important legal doctrines of the Supreme Court. POLI 421: Constitutional Law – Rights and Immunities: This course teaches students to discuss the institutional issues surrounding US government structures, specifically the rights and powers of the President, Congress, the judiciary, states, and individuals. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to provide classroom instruction, hold office hours, grade papers, and give students feedback. Not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees.
