PhD or EdD in a related field preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience In-depth understanding of school leadership and legal and ethical issues in schools Understanding of modern educational systems, institutions, and practices Experience effectively teaching in-person or online, or aptitude to do so Commitment to Christlike leadership, teaching, and service Preferred Qualifications University-level teaching experience Experience teaching in-person and online Experience as a teacher or administrator in K‑12 schools Duties/Expectations The Educational Leadership and Foundations Department in the McKay School of Education is hiring an adjunct professor to teach a graduate course in legal and ethical issues for educators. The course helps prepare pre‑service teachers to create safe and successful learning environments for all students, equip them to avoid misunderstandings or false allegations, and understand ethical grounding, equity, fairness, safety, and the rights of the educational community. Duties include teaching a 1–2 credit course, planning and delivering lessons 1–2 times each week, and grading student assignments.
