Day‑to‑Day Duties

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with strategic goals.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance—to ensure seamless project flow.
• Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and escalating issues when necessary.
• Oversee contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Control project expenditures, monitor cost performance, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Must‑Have (Essential) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional Project Management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Exactly 5 years of proven project management experience within the electrical or utilities sector.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multi‑disciplinary projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication proficiency.

Nice‑to‑Have (Desired) Experience

• Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards such as NEC and OSHA.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
• Track record of managing vendor relationships and contractual agreements.
• Experience in renewable‑energy or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Background in continuous‑improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
