Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment, handling general plant maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting and repairing as needed to ensure optimal operability of plant equipment and a safe working environment. You will address and resolve urgent maintenance and repair requests with minimal guidance to minimize downtime and prevent business disruptions.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical certification in HVAC, Electrical Systems, Welding, or CNC Machining is a plus.
• Experience with Twin Turret Lathe is a plus.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to natural and artificial light, varying work temperatures, light to moderate amounts of airborne graphite dust, and moderate background noise. Personal Protective Equipment is required. The position requires standing, bending, reaching, walking, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently. Effective communication in English and proficiency in using a personal computer are essential. Shifts include 1st and 2nd shift maintenance hours (6 am-2:30 pm and 2 pm-10 pm) with some optional overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
