What This Role Is… As a Warehouse Stock Picker AM Associate, the primary function of this position is to maintain accurate inventory of all products. The Stock Picker is responsible for providing support to Customer Pickup, Chair Assembly, Rewrap and Merchandise Returns in pulling and putting away merchandise in our rack system for internal and external customers. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY HOME. Responsibilities Conduct inventory counts for all products in the distribution center and investigate inventory discrepancies Utilize proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damage to merchandise and personal injuries Examine products for damages, document reasons for damages, and notify a Supervisor Pull merchandise from rack system for the Customer Pickup department Store away merchandise into rack system from various distribution center departments Qualifications & Requirements Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test Education & Work Experience: No high school diploma required Stock Picker experience preferred, but not required Full-time, 40 Hours, 6:00am – 2:30pm, Flexible days 0% Travel Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 75 lbs or more; working at heights; bending; prolonged standing and walking Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) WMS – High Jump (preferred but not required) AS400 (preferred but not required) Director (preferred but not required) Certifications / Licenses: No certifications required What We’re Looking For… Relationship Management Change Receptivity Teamwork Equal Employment Opportunity Statement CITY Furniture, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
