Medical Device Electrical Assembler (Cleanroom) — $22–$25/hour

A day on our second shift

When you clock in at 2:30pm , you step into a climate- and particulate-controlled workspace. You gear up with PPE, ground yourself for ESD safety, and move to your station. Using precision torque tools , you wire, solder, and perform electrical tests on subassemblies destined for life-changing devices. You’ll rotate into mechanical final assembly as workload dictates, verify your parts (and occasionally a teammate’s) to exacting quality standards, and keep your bench 6S tidy before clocking out at 11:00pm Monday–Friday.

What you’ll do

• Perform wiring, soldering, electrical testing, assembly, and sub-assembly for medical device applications in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Adhere to ESD protocols and ISO Class 5 cleanroom standards.
• Follow detailed electrical assembly work instructions and use precision torque tools.
• Support mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly of medical products on an assembly line, based on workload.
• Verify parts and, as needed, check other assemblers’ work against quality criteria.
• Demonstrate safe work practices with consistent PPE use and compliance with all safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and build issues as they arise.
• Maintain a well-organized, compliant workspace using 6S principles.
• Advance through training and certification to Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Level Two and Level Three (each requiring a minimum of six months of training, Team Lead approval, and prior certification).

What you bring

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience and training

• 1+ year of electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to performing quality checks.

Physical and mental demands

• Frequent use of hand and power tools; reading blueprints; assembling very small components.
• Ability to read and follow directions accurately.
• Close and color vision; reading; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay, shift, and growth

• Compensation: $22–$25/hour
• Schedule: Second Shift , 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday
• Progression: Structured training toward Level Two and Level Three certifications
