The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.Position Summary: The Electrical Assembler is responsible for the final assembly, wiring, and integration of medium- and high-frequency power supply systems and related equipment. This role combines electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and system integration to ensure fully functional, test-ready products that meet customer specifications. The position requires strong blueprint reading skills, hands-on technical ability, and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.Job Duties:Review engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs) to plan assembly workVerify kit contents and identify shortages or discrepancies prior to assemblyPerform electrical wiring, terminations, and connections per specificationsAssemble and connect mechanical components, including heat stations, coil assemblies, and work handling systemsInstall and route pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including associated tubing and hosesPerform water testing and system checks to ensure proper function and complianceModify, adjust, or fabricate components as needed to meet design and performance requirementsAlign, fit, and assemble subcomponents and final systems with precisionSupport system layout and assembly for testing, inspection, and final customer acceptancePerform final clean-up and preparation for shipment or installationTroubleshoot and resolve basic assembly or fit-up issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all safety policies and proceduresSupport occasional off-site service or installation work as neededWhat you need to be successful:High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience (electrical/mechanical preferred)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMsFamiliarity with pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems preferredAbility to use hand power toolsBasic math skills including fractions, decimals, and metric conversionsForklift certifiable*Other duties as assigned.*Ajax Tocco Magnethermic provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
