Assistant Director (Human Resources Operations)

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys, Human Resources Staff manages human resource policies and programs across 94 U.S. Attorneys' offices. HR provides technical oversight of delegated personnel authorities, operating personnel services, and pre-employment security screening across all U.S. Attorneys' offices. They develop and enforce HR policies, oversee delegated personnel authorities, administer distinct pay systems for Assistant U.S. Attorneys and support staff. In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirement. Specialized experience To be eligible at the GS-15 level, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 in Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as providing leadership and oversight of federal civilian human resources employees in at least THREE of the following areas: staffing/recruitment, position classification, information systems, employee management (benefits, performance, employee relations), and payroll; providing advisory services related to the establishment and maintenance of effective employee-employer relationships; AND providing advice and guidance to senior leadership on complex human resources challenges.
