Certified Surgical Technologist – CST Must Have ENT & Ophthalmology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in cataract surgery to join. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile fields, ensuring that all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and functioning, and assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Set up and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and supplies used
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or other recognized certification agency
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ambulatory surgical center
