Base pay range $40.00/hr - $44.00/hr Quality Assurance Analyst Position Summary Quality Assurance Analysts within the client’s technology group are responsible creating and executingthe test cases both manual and automated, identifying and re-testing defect fixes and communicating results. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with the IT Manager and Lead Quality Assurance Analyst for estimating/scheduling work, the Business Analyst for requirement comprehension, Developers for defect resolution and the Business Users for User Acceptance Testing. The Quality Assurance Analyst will work as a member of a cross functional team including project managers, business analysts, software engineers, and QA analysts, so effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork is essential for success. Job Dutiesand Responsibilities Work across numerous projectsto ensure technical excellence of our consumer-facing experiences and work with Interactive BusinessAnalyst and Developers to clarify and understand functional and software requirements Analyze functional requirements, wireframes, designs,and other projectdocumentation as appropriate, to determine softwareapplication testing requirements. Generate test scenarios that meet the acceptance criteria and identify how each scenario will be tested. Validate requirement coverage and executetest cases, analyzetest results, problems,or failures and document resultsand utilize effectivetime management skillsto work on multiple projectssimultaneously. Responsible for executing various test types: smoke, functional, system/integration, regression, automated, accessibility, UAT, etc. Lead sessionswith business users to plan, coordinate and execute UAT testing Proactively work with IT Manager, BusinessAnalyst, Creative, User Experience and Development to define projectrequirements and estimateeffort to deliver Minimum RequiredQualifications Four-year collegedegree in relatedfield or equivalent combination of educationand experience 3+ years of QA technical experience 1+ years of Automation experience 3+ years of web and mobiletesting experience, in a combination of both marketing and IT fields 3+ years of demonstrated experience in drivingprojects independently &strong cross-functional leadership Experience with XML coding, particularly for managing and updating contract procedures Good understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies Good grasp of Selenium/Java or Selenium/C# automation scripting automation Good in back-end databasetesting; creating and analyzing databasequeries, preferably SQL Server 2000 and up Ability to adapt quicklyto new technologies and changingbusiness requirements Outstanding writtenand verbal communication skills Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products Good comprehension of an SDLC process Good grasp of currentweb and mobile technologies Experience in agile/iterative environments Experience using automated testingtools and emulatorsfor app testing Good knowledge of automated testingtools, techniques and methodologies Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects of simple to high complexity Skilled at analysis and troubleshooting on web-based software Experience solvingbusiness problems with technology Excellent writtenand oral communication skills Keep abreastof new technologies, implementation methodologies and industry best practices for interactive qualityassurance Experience using formal softwaredevelopment methodologies Preferred Qualifications Graduate degreein related field Excellent writingand communication skills Excellent interpersonal skill set with a self-starting attitude, team-player, and flexibility.
