Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient-centered care goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to work a consistent day-shift schedule in an onsite rehabilitation setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab setting
• Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
