Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and clinical guidelines
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery and functional outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs as directed by the supervising OT

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification through NBCOT
• Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior clinical experience as a COTA in a rehabilitation or related setting
• Ability to work independently within the scope of practice under OT supervision

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute rehabilitation hospital environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary care team
