We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced QAQC Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Sines, Portugal.Responsibilities• Lead the Project Quality Management System On-Site Take full responsibility for implementing and maintaining the project QA/QC system across all construction activities. Ensure procedures, inspection plans, and quality processes are effectively applied from groundworks through to commissioning and handover. • Oversee Inspection and Test Activities Across Disciplines Manage all site inspections, witness testing, and hold point sign-offs across MEP or CSA works. Ensure works are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs, with no deviations going unchallenged. • Drive Non-Conformance Management and Close-Out Identify, record, and manage all non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring root cause analysis is completed and corrective/preventative actions are properly implemented and closed out in a timely manner. • Ensure Compliance with Project, Client, and Regulatory Standards Maintain strict adherence to project quality requirements, client expectations, and relevant industry standards. Work closely with site teams to embed a “right first time” culture and reduce rework across all packages. • Coordinate Quality Documentation and Handover Dossiers Oversee the collation, tracking, and finalisation of all quality records including inspection reports, test certificates, material approvals, and as-built documentation to support a complete and compliant handover package.RequirementsMust have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres Must have EU Passport or RTW in PortugalBenefits100,000 - 110,000 + Accommodation, Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, overseas allowanceKeywords QAQC Lead, Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, Data Centre, Construction, Portugal, Main Contractor, Europe, Sines
