Support Specialist

Do you enjoy routine work with established policies and procedures? You may thrive as a Support Specialist at American National. You would be working with our Life & Annuities division to support various functions. End users depend on you for the quick, accurate routing of all correspondence relating to policy and claim files.

What You'll Do

• Research incoming correspondence and receivable payments for document categorization, account identification, and proper routing to various business areas
• Inspect, prepare and digitize incoming physical mail utilizing data capture software
• Complete security scans of external media prior to upload of materials
• Convert large digital files for compatibility and fit within enterprise document storage systems
• Maintain accurate logs for payments received via mail. Maintain internal tracking of priority, certified, and overnight packages.
• Troubleshoot, report, and repair erroneous digitized records and follow business rules for reporting and correction
• Follow records and retention protocol and schedule through storage and destruction of physical files

What You'll Need

There is no experience required for this position. You'll succeed in this role if you do well with self-motivation and work with minimal supervision. With each new project you will be given detailed instructions but will have minimal oversight from management.
