Associate Attorney - Toxic Tort

Job Overview A law firm seeks a licensed Associate Attorney with over two years of experience to join their Toxic Tort and Products Liability Litigation team in St. Louis, MO. Duties Conduct thorough research, analysis, and interpretation of legal sources such as statutes, regulations, and court decisions. Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution. Monitor case files to ensure compliance with deadlines and investigate facts and legal matters to determine causes of action. Assist with document review and analysis. Conduct depositions and attend court hearings in various counties and courthouses. Requirements Good standing with the Illinois bar; dual licensure in Missouri is preferred. Strong writing, research, and analytical skills. Deposition experience, with a preference for experience in Toxic Tort cases. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois; Missouri licensure preferred. Skills Excellent research and analytical abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
