Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs by utilizing comprehensive clinical interviews and diagnostic assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practices, tailored to address specific patient challenges. Regularly engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions, delivering both individual and group therapies to facilitate their healing journey. Provide continuous support, tools, and strategies that empower patients to navigate their mental health challenges effectively. Refer patients to additional healthcare providers when needed; coordinate care with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure holistic treatment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) using modern health informatics systems to enhance patient care and facilitate communication within the care team. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your approach will be culturally responsive, ensuring that therapy aligns with the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual, thereby promoting inclusiveness and sensitivity in care. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Possession of a current and valid clinical license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California. A minimum of two years of clinical experience, providing therapy and support to diverse populations. Strong theoretical knowledge of mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities. Exceptional crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibited through effective relationship-building with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in EHR systems and the ability to adapt to digital tools that facilitate patient care and documentation. A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining patient confidentiality, and upholding professional boundaries. Preferred Experience While experience with a variety of therapy modalities is essential, candidates who have a background in delivering group therapy sessions, utilize trauma-informed care principles, or possess familiarity with telehealth practices will be prioritized. Furthermore, candidates who demonstrate cultural competence and inclusivity in their therapeutic approaches will enhance the quality of care we strive to provide. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
