Maintenance Technician - Multifamily

As part of the ARTISAN maintenance team, you'll play a key role in protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while helping residents feel truly at home. This position requires general maintenance expertise and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain community buildings, equipment, and grounds to support operational and resident satisfaction goals. Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment, including compliance with health, safety programs, policies, procedures, reports.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance requests and participates in the on-call rotation. Inspect common areas and residential units to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems. Complete building repairs such as drywall, flooring, doors, hardware, windows, screens and more.
• Maintain pools/spas, chemicals, logs, and associated safety equipment (where applicable). Keep tools and storage areas organized and secure. Participate in required ARTISAN training and development programs. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as maintenance technician in residential, commercial, or facility settings
• Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Strong communication and time management skills
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
