Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test

Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Medtronic's Pelvic Health unit, leading software verification and quality engineering for web, mobile, and cloud-connected applications. The role involves designing automated testing solutions, defining test strategies, and supporting compliant product development in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated verification solutions across web, mobile, API, and backend systems
- Define test strategies, verification plans, and risk-based testing approaches aligned with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain reusable test frameworks, automation assets, and test infrastructure
- Translate business and software requirements into traceable test designs and verification evidence
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for releases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years software development, test engineering, or quality engineering experience
- Experience developing and executing automated software tests for production applications
- Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, or Kotlin for test automation
- Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or TestNG
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, source control, and defect tracking systems
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, or distributed systems
- Familiarity with regulated software development environments and audit documentation
