Software Development Engineer II in Test (SDET)

Medtronic seeks a Software Development Engineer II in Test to design and execute automated and manual test solutions for medical device software. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, compliance, and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for software verification activities
- Author, review, and execute software test protocols for automated and manual testing
- Analyze test execution results and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Review software requirements for completeness, testability, and traceability
- Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis to support issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years software development or test engineering experience, or Master's degree
- 2+ years Java development and testing experience
- Experience developing and executing automated software tests
- Experience authoring and reviewing software test documentation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 USD
