Security Officer Part-Time - Building Patrol (Tempe, AZ) Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 01:30 PM - 05:30 PM Sun: 05:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support compliance with site procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and operational needs. Minimum Requirements: At least six months of security-related experience is required. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
